RHA Celebrates Opening of New Rural Resource Center in Huntingdon

The Rural Health Association of Tennessee (RHA) is proud to announce the official opening of its new Rural Resource

Center in Huntingdon, Tennessee. Last week, community leaders, partners and supporters gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate this exciting milestone and the opportunities it will bring to rural communities across the region.

The Rural Resource Center reflects RHA’s ongoing commitment to improving access to essential resources and support services for individuals and families throughout rural Tennessee. Designed to serve as a central hub for connection and assistance, the center will help connect community members with valuable services including food assistance, counseling resources and telehealth support for members, patients and the broader community.

The opening of the center represents more than just a new facility. It is an investment in the health, well-being and prosperity of rural Tennesseans. By creating a space dedicated to collaboration and support, RHA aims to help bridge gaps in access and strengthen the network of care available in rural communities.

This achievement was made possible through the leadership and vision of RHA members and board members, past and present, along with the dedication of the association’s staff and partners. RHA also extends sincere appreciation to the Tennessee Department of Health for its support through TennCare shared savings funding, which helped make this project a reality.

As stewards of public resources, the Rural Health Association of Tennessee remains committed to advancing innovative solutions that improve rural health outcomes and strengthen communities across the state.

RHA looks forward to the impact the Rural Resource Center will have in Huntingdon and beyond as it continues working to support healthier, stronger rural Tennessee communities.
